A Little Bit About Me
Assalaamu Alaykum. Life is complicated enough so let’s keep this simple.

Wholeheartedly believe in marriage and the family unit which is why I chose to stay married for sixteen years as a loyal and faithful wife. After irreconcilable differences I decided to walk away from it all so here I am with no regrets and ready to give love another chance. I have two children who live with me.

I come from a practising family and am very passionate about our beautiful deen. I'm a big fan of Mufti Menk, Dr Zakir Naik and Yasmin Mogahed. I enjoy listening to and attending Islamic courses and seminars in my spare time. I don’t celebrate birthdays, mawlid or partake in khatams so would like someone on the same wavelength as me. Also I don’t listen to music or have a Netflix account so if you’re addicted to movies and TV shows I’m afraid I’m not for you.

I offer to be a loyal and committed life partner. I'm supportive and a woman of principles and take marriage seriously whilst still being able to have fun. I will give my love, affection and attention with an open heart, fulfilling my Islamic duties as a wife to the best of my abilities in sha Allah.

What I Am Looking For
Looking for a righteous partner who is supportive, caring and compassionate. Someone who fears Allah, fulfills his obligations as a Muslim and gets excited at the prospects of becoming a husband so he can complete his deen.

I’m looking for a partner who is happy to have a stay at home wife and doesn’t rely on her for financial contribution.

Physical attraction is important but it's not my number one priority when considering a spouse as I strongly believe a person's character and mannerism is what makes them truly beautiful. Men don't appeal to me if they are disrespectful, dishonest, arrogant, abusive, unfaithful or give mixed signals. Unfortunately I've seen many people with degrees, fancy titles and white collar jobs but lack of wisdom and common sense when it comes to marriage.

If you give culture precedence over religion then we can't go forward. Similarly, if you can't keep a balance between your wife and family then it's not going to work out. Marriage is a beautiful bond and should comprise of teamwork and compromise as opposed to forcing opinions, control and dictatorship.

Apologies if I sound a bit harsh or come across as blunt but I'm a straightforward person. Being open and upfront saves everybody's time. I have certain expectations from my husband and honestly speaking I don't think I'm asking for much. I simply want respect, commitment, companionship, affection and loyalty. All of which are part of my Islamic rights to be fulfilled by my husband and I endeavour to do the same as a loving wife in sha Allah.
